Ingredients

1 cup brewed espresso (cooled)

3 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

2 cups mascarpone cheese

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 packet of ladyfinger cookies (approximately 24)

Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Dark chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare Coffee Mixture: In a shallow bowl, combine the brewed espresso, sugar, and coffee liqueur (if using). Stir until the sugar dissolves. Set aside to cool completely.

Cream Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until the mixture is smooth and thickened (about 3-5 minutes).

Dip Ladyfingers: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring that they are soaked but not soggy. Place a layer of dipped ladyfingers in the bottom of a rectangular dish.

Layer Cream: Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the layer of ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers: Add another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone layer, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.

Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to let the flavors meld and the dessert to set.

Serve: Before serving, dust the top generously with cocoa powder and, if desired, sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings for extra garnish.

Enjoy: Slice and serve chilled, enjoying every delightful spoonful of your easy Tiramisu Delight!
