8 oz (225g) cooked noodles (preferably spaghetti or ramen)

4 tablespoons olive oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons red chili flakes (adjust to taste)

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

2 tablespoons sesame oil

2 teaspoons sugar

2 green onions, finely chopped

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Prep the Noodles: Prepare your noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

    Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

      Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant but not browned.

        Add Heat: Mix in the red chili flakes and cook for an additional 30 seconds to release their flavor.

          Season the Sauce: Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, and sugar. Stir well to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
