Ingredients

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 cups granulated sugar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

1 ½ cups vegetable oil

1 cup buttermilk, room temperature

2 large eggs, room temperature

2 tablespoons red food coloring

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon white vinegar

For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2-4 tablespoons milk (adjust for desired consistency)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-cup Bundt pan.

In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside.

In another bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, vanilla extract, and white vinegar until well combined.

Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

                For the Cream Cheese Glaze:

In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth.

Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until combined.

Add the vanilla extract and enough milk to reach your desired glaze consistency. Mix until smooth.

                        To Assemble:

Once the cake is completely cool, drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the top, allowing it to cascade down the sides.

Slice and serve your Velvety Red Bliss Bundt Cake, enjoying its rich flavors and delightful texture!
