Ingredients

8 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup diced pimentos (drained)

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh chives or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Grate the Cheese: Begin by grating the sharp cheddar cheese and set it aside in a large mixing bowl.

Mix Cream Cheese: In the same bowl, add the softened cream cheese and mix until smooth. You can use a spatula or an electric mixer on low speed for ease.

Combine Ingredients: Add the mayonnaise, drained diced pimentos, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the bowl. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.

Season: Taste the mixture and season with salt and black pepper according to your preference.

Chill: Cover the pimento cheese mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.

Serve: Once chilled, give it another quick stir. Serve the pimento cheese in a bowl, garnished with chopped chives or parsley. Enjoy with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh vegetables!
