Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into sticks

4 oz pepperoni slices

1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Italian seasoning (optional, for sprinkling)

Fresh basil (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Place one piece of mozzarella cheese at the wide end of each triangle.

Add 2-3 slices of pepperoni on top of the mozzarella.

Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the cheese and pepperoni tightly.

Place the rolled croissants on the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Brush the tops of the croissants with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Optional: Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top for extra flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving with marinara sauce for dipping.

Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
