Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes

20 slices of pepperoni

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll Out Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate the triangles.

Layer Ingredients: In the center of each triangle, place 2-3 slices of pepperoni and a cube of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.

Roll Up: Starting from the wide end, carefully roll up each triangle towards the narrow end to form a crescent shape. Ensure the cheese and pepperoni are tucked inside.

Brush with Olive Oil: Place the rolled croissants on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes if desired.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
