1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons sesame oil

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon minced ginger

1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red chili paste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 green onions, chopped (plus more for garnish)

1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

1 cup steamed broccoli or other vegetables of choice

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Prepare Ingredients: Gather all ingredients and have them ready. Cook rice according to package instructions if not already prepared.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, gochujang, and black pepper. Stir well until mixed.

Combine: Pour the sauce over the cooked ground beef in the skillet. Stir to coat the beef evenly with the sauce. Add in the chopped green onions, reserving a little for garnish. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Assemble the Bowl: To serve, place a scoop of cooked rice at the bottom of a bowl. Top it with the Korean ground beef mixture and steamed broccoli or your choice of vegetables.

Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds and leftover green onions on top for extra flair and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve your delicious Korean Ground Beef Bowl warm and enjoy!
