Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, pitted and chopped

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Lemon slices and peach slices, for garnish

Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Flavor Variations:

1. Mint Peach Lemonade: Add a handful of fresh mint leaves while blending the peaches.

2. Ginger Peach Lemonade: Incorporate 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger for a spicy kick.

3. Sparkling Peach Lemonade: Substitute half of the cold water with sparkling water for a fizzy delight.

4. Raspberry Peach Lemonade: Blend in 1 cup of fresh or frozen raspberries for a berry twist.

Instructions

In a blender, combine the chopped peaches and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.

Strain the peach puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher, using a spatula to help push through the liquid while leaving the pulp behind.

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar to the pitcher with the peach juice. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Pour in the remaining cold water and mix to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or water.

Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices, peach slices, and mint leaves if desired.
