Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh if available)

Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare Chicken: In a medium bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Coat each chicken thigh in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Cook Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter. Add the chicken thighs and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and are golden brown. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make Honey Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the remaining butter. Once melted, stir in the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and dried thyme. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to slightly thicken.

Combine: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating each thigh generously with the honey butter sauce. Allow to simmer for another 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
