Ingredients

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup buffalo sauce (adjust for spice preference)

1 cup chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

8 oz pasta (penne or rotini work well)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot. Pour the buffalo sauce and chicken broth over the top.

Season the Chicken: Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the chicken.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the crockpot. Stir well to combine it with the buffalo sauce mixture.

Cook the Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, boil the pasta in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make it Creamy: Add the heavy cream to the shredded chicken mixture in the crockpot and mix until well combined. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and allow it to melt for about 5 minutes.

Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the crockpot and gently toss until the pasta is well coated with the buffalo chicken sauce.

Serve: Spoon the buffalo chicken pasta onto plates and top with crumbled blue cheese (if using), and garnish with chopped green onions and fresh parsley.
