Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skinless and boneless, cut into bite-sized cubes

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon ginger, minced

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Salmon: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and salt. Add the salmon cubes and toss to coat well. Allow the salmon to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Coat the Salmon: After marinating, remove the salmon cubes from the mixture. Discard any excess marinade. In a separate small bowl, toss the salmon pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated. This will help make them crispy when cooked.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the coated salmon bites.

Cook the Salmon: Sear the salmon for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Glaze the Salmon: Once all the salmon bites are cooked, return them to the pan together. Drizzle the reserved marinade over the top and let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the salmon bites.

Finish and Serve: Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish. Serve immediately over rice, with a side of greens or as an appetizer. Enjoy!
