1 pound rotini pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and black pepper, to taste

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Rotini: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides. Add them to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing it into strips.

      Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
