Ingredients
  

2 cups cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)

1 large apple (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), diced

1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped

1/2 cup dried cranberries

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, diced apple, and lemon juice to prevent the apples from browning.

    Add the toasted walnuts and dried cranberries to the bowl.

      Drizzle the honey (or maple syrup) over the mixture, followed by the ground cinnamon. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
