Chicken Alfredo Lasagna

9 lasagna noodles

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

2 cups ricotta cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

4 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the lasagna noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a clean surface to prevent sticking.

    Prepare the Sauce: In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the Alfredo sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes, then set aside.

      Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until combined.

        Assemble the Lasagna:

          - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

            - In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the Alfredo sauce on the bottom.

              - Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.

                - Spread half of the chicken and ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of Alfredo sauce, and then a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.

                  - Repeat the layers: another 3 noodles, the remaining chicken and ricotta mixture, Alfredo sauce, and mozzarella cheese.

                    - Top with the last 3 noodles, cover with the remaining Alfredo sauce, and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.

                      Bake the Lasagna: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil (to prevent sticking, spray the foil with cooking spray or place it loosely). Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

                        Serve: Once baked, let the lasagna sit for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
