Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup cooked ground beef (seasoned with taco seasoning)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup salsa

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, finely chopped (optional, for heat)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, salsa, chopped onion, jalapeño, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Roll Out Pizza Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick. If using pre-rolled dough, simply unroll it onto the prepared surface.

Cut into Strips: Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the dough into long strips (approximately 3 inches wide).

Add the Filling: Place a generous spoonful of the taco filling along one edge of each dough strip. Be careful not to overfill.

Fold and Seal: Roll the dough over the filling to create a stick. Pinch and seal the ends to prevent the filling from escaping.

Egg Wash: Place the rolled sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden color.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and puffed up.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy with extra salsa or dipping sauce of your choice!
