Ingredients

4 fresh ears of corn, husked

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: Start by husking the corn and removing all silk strands. Rinse the ears under cold water and set aside.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Preheat the Grill: If you're grilling the corn, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. For boiling, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Coat the Corn: Generously spread the garlic butter mixture over each ear of corn, ensuring it's well coated on all sides.

          Grill or Boil the Corn:

            - Grilling: Place the buttered corn directly on the grill grates. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.

              - Boiling: Place the corn in the boiling water and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender.

Add the Cheese: Once cooked, remove the corn from the grill or water. While still hot, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the corn, allowing it to melt slightly.

Garnish: Sprinkle fresh parsley over the cheesy corn to add color and a burst of freshness.

Serve: Serve the cheesy garlic butter corn on the cob with lime wedges on the side for an extra zesty flavor.
