Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup cooked white rice

1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup pico de gallo

2 tablespoons sour cream

2 cups frozen French fries (or homemade fries)

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) for the fries.

Cook Fries: Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy, usually about 25-30 minutes.

Prepare Filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Season Beef: Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spices are well combined with the meat.

Assemble Burritos: Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center of the tortilla, layer the cooked rice, seasoned beef, black beans, a mix of both cheeses, and pico de gallo. Add a dollop of sour cream if desired.

Roll Burritos: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up from the bottom to create a tightly sealed burrito. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

Toast Burritos: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place each burrito seam-side down in the pan and toast for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Plate the burritos alongside a pile of crispy fries. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
