Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

Sliced pickles (optional)

Ketchup (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Add Vegetables: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the beef and sauté until the onion is translucent about 3-4 minutes.

Season the Mixture: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Prepare the Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles as per package instructions.

Assemble the Pockets: On each crescent triangle, place about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture. Add a tablespoon of cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top. If desired, add a small squirt of mustard and a few slices of pickles.

Fold and Seal: Fold the tip of the triangle over the filling, then roll the dough from the bottom to the top, pinching the sides to seal the pocket. Place the sealed pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake: Bake the cheeseburger pockets in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve: Let them cool for a few minutes before serving with ketchup on the side.
