Ingredients

2 cups rolled oats

2 cups almond milk (or any milk of choice)

2 large apples, diced (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)

1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade, for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish or similar size with cooking spray or butter.

In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, diced apples, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly blended.

If you’re using nuts, gently fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts for added crunch and flavor.

Pour the oatmeal mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are slightly firm.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Cut into squares and serve warm, with an extra drizzle of caramel or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
