Ingredients

1 package of breakfast sausage links (12 links)

1 can of crescent roll dough (8 oz)

4 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage links until browned and fully cooked, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

In a separate skillet, scramble the egg mixture over medium-low heat until just cooked through but still slightly soft; you don’t want them to be overcooked. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and combined.

Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate the triangles. Place one sausage link at the wide end of each triangle, then spoon a tablespoon of the scrambled egg and cheese mixture on top.

Roll the crescent dough around the sausage and egg mixture tightly, starting from the wide end to the pointed end, sealing the edges gently. Place each rolled pig in a blanket on the prepared baking sheet with the seam side down.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh chives or parsley if desired, and serve warm!
