Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1/4 cup shredded coconut, unsweetened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or macadamia nuts (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, crushed pineapple, and shredded coconut. Mix well.

In another bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and well-blended.

Pour the wet ingredients into the banana mixture and stir until combined.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Avoid over-mixing to keep the bread tender.

If desired, fold in the chopped walnuts or macadamia nuts for added texture and flavor.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once baked, allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Enjoy a slice of your Best Hawaiian Banana Bread with a hint of tropical flavor!
