Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings: fresh mint leaves, additional sliced strawberries, granola, or chocolate shavings

Instructions

Begin by washing the strawberries thoroughly and removing the green tops. Slice them into halves or quarters depending on size.

In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced strawberries and lemon juice. Blend until you achieve a smooth puree. If you prefer some texture, reserve a few whole strawberry slices to fold in later.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or agave syrup), vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated and smooth.

Pour the strawberry puree into the yogurt mixture and gently stir until fully blended. If you reserved some strawberry slices, fold them in at this stage for added texture.

Pour the mixture into an airtight container. Cover and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the yogurt is firm and scoopable.

Before serving, let the frozen yogurt sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly, making it easier to scoop.

Serve in bowls or cones, and top with your choice of options like fresh mint leaves, extra sliced strawberries, granola, or chocolate shavings for an added delightful touch.
