Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

6 large eggs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter

Powdered sugar, for serving

Fresh fruit (such as berries or sliced bananas), for serving

Maple syrup, for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, milk, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth and well combined.

In a cast-iron skillet or a 9x13 inch baking dish, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to foam. Make sure to coat the sides as well.

Once the butter is melted, quickly pour the batter into the skillet or dish.

Place the skillet or dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. The pancake will puff up and become golden brown on the edges.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute. The pancake will deflate slightly.

Dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm with your choice of fresh fruits and maple syrup drizzled on top.
