1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko preferred for extra crunch)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Shrimp: Start by thoroughly rinsing the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This helps the coating stick better and results in a crisper finish.

    Set Up Breading Stations: In one bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. In a second bowl, beat the eggs until well combined. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

      Bread the Shrimp: First, dip each shrimp into the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing the excess egg to drip off. Finally, coat the shrimp well in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
